Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Kemerdekaan Negara Republik Indonesia yg ke-80 Tahun 2025 , POLRI khususnya di wilayah hukum Polda Metro Jaya menggelar OPERASI KEPOLISIAN dengan Sandi MERDEKA JAYA-2025,
yang dilaksanakan mulai Tanggal 16 Agustus s.d 18 Agustus 2025.
Operasi Kepolisian “MERDEKA JAYA-2025”
dilaksanakan untuk Mengamankan kegiatan Perayaan Peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan yg digelar oleh pemerintah berupa kegiatan Pesta Rakyat (Karnaval dan Hiburan musik) yg diselenggarakan disepanjang jalan Sudirman-Tamrin (Tugu Senayan s.d Tugu Monas).
Dirbinmas PMJ & Ketua ASH melakukan kunjungan ke hotel -hotel untuk himbaun untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan dan meningkatkan keamanan untuk mencegah terjadinya gangguan kamtibmas
yg mungkin akan terjadi selama kegiatan Perayaan Pesta Rakyat berlangsung.
